Highly qualified private tutors deliver one on one instruction that develops skills, supports private and public school curriculum, and builds self-confidence. Parents and students participate in an interview and assessment process that helps us target specific areas of need. All educational and professional testing is reviewed and discussed. A Way to Learn will create a planned program that suits the individual needs of your child. Frequent communication between parents, teachers, therapists, and other professionals is an important part of our program that helps to support your child's educational experience.

 

 

A Way to Learn provides small group support in the form of study halls. These small groups (up to 6 students) are available for those students ready for some independence, but benefit from the structure and support of an instructor. A teacher will be present during each study hall session to supervise, offer support, answer questions, and encourage each student to complete their homework. Study halls are offered 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) in our office as well as in local public libraries. Study halls run from 2:45-8PM. Students may enroll in study halls from one day per week to four days per week.

Students may enroll in study halls on an as needed basis with a 24 hour advance notice. Westport Public schools have bus service from Staples HS to our office.
